1970 Dart tail stripe location?

Does anyone have the measurements for the location of the tail stripe on a 70 dart swinger? My painter is having trouble finding the correct location. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jon

I am going to put mine wherever it seems to look best.

The marker light seems to guide placement!

Unless show points are in the mix I would say just use your own likes.

put the side stripes on first then that will tell ya where to put the trunk stripe & the side marker lights will help with alignment

Painted on? I did! I laid out my own, it's wider than the original.... I used 1/4 in tape on the edge of the quarter panel to be the starting point of the small outside strip then made the center 7 3/4 wide.... then added the other outside strip... I also ended the strip all the way down to cover the valance from the side... Hope this helps... if you want to go original specs don't do it like me.

i think the side marker lights line it up best. but remember the trunk part of the stripe is NOT just straight across the trunk.
