Hello everyone, just got ahold of a new mexico bodied 1970 duster. Little surface rust but super solid. Coded from factory with 318c.i. 3 speed sublime green with a 8 3/4" rear end. It came no motor rear end and engine cross member in place and a 3 and 4 speed trasmission, I'm using the 4 speed. Think this is a very good foundation.
first day home.

This is what happened my first day off. Came apart so easy I stripped almost the whole car in less then four hour's. Got to love southern steel. Under side just as clear as the rest. Now the part's hunt start's first on the found list, tail light's.

looks like a nice find to me. A solid foundation to start with is always a plus. 4 speed, V-8 Kmember, 8.75 diff... Lots of help and info to be found here...

Welcome to FABO man! nice find! i hope the project goes smoothly for you! i'll be watching it!.. what colour was it originally?

Nothing like a car which stayed below the Manson-Nixon (okay; Mason-Dixon) Line all of its life.
Keep posting your progress photos; looks like a great start.
