1970 Javelin for Dad

I'm looking to get a 1970 javelin but I don't have a lot of cash and I know they don't sell cheap my Dad had one when he got married and had to get rid of it so I am looking to find one to restore and give to him I personally only have done darts I have 2 74's right now but I would like to get him his javelin for all the times he helped me with the darts if you know where there is one near London Ontario canada let me know I have traveled as far are southern pennysalvania and illinios for my darts so if I have to I am willing to drive but it need to be fixable not a show car in the end but a nice drive without a rotted frame let me know if you know where there is anything I'm not to worried about the engine size or options the car has. It depends on the condition and the amount I have to spend I can chip in at least 1000$ and I can most likely get the rest of my family to chip in I'm sort of hoping for a DD that needs alot of work I don't car if it has floors an engine or things like that I can get and replace them even interior parts I can get it's the frame that really concerns me to be honest I know they are not cheap cars to buy but am not sure what they are worth except they will cost more then my 2 300$ darts most likely alot more

Thanks I've been watching the one on e-bay for 900$ do you know what I can expect to pay for a 70? I think his had the 304 V8 with a 3 speed auto and it wasn't a AMX for sure I don't know if it was an sst hard to tell in 30 year old pictures and like I said I don't know much about javelins.

hi i am selling my 1970 Mark Donahue Javelin is very clean originally from Arkansas i got from second owner ho got in 1974 and was parked 1981-82. 360 go pack car original motor and trans. white ext. and very rare red leather interior. needs total restoration is 1 of only 2501 made. $5,000 BO.
