Hi,
I am an expert on the Mexican version (Super bee, GTS, Acapulco)
the super bee 70 is identical to Duster 340 70 but with 318 motor.
71 is also a Duster, has 318 engine, its stripes are inspired by the Super Bee Coronet 70.
72 is like a Demon, with 318. stripes inspired by the Road Runer 71 and 72.
73 is like the Dart Sport, but continues to use the 318.
74 is also the Dart Sport, with tail Ligths of the Duster, is Finally with 318, stripes inspired by the Charger RT 71.
75 is also a sport with Dart tail ligth of Duster, and is the first motor 360,
76 is like a Duster and stripes design exclusive 100% Mexican .
from 77 to 80 are f plymouth body with designs inspired by the bands of mulicolor of Aspen RT, and the Super Coupe.

There was a "survivor" (for these cars) around here that looked like a demon. 1972. The badge said Valiant. Most of those Mexican spec 2 door cars are very hammered.

Well, I'm gonna stick with the facts until other compelling evidence is presented.

Regarding the COVID crisis, Trump's response was so poor and he's such a petty, vindictive human being that you're not entirely wrong but he's an aberration, not the norm. I worked through the pandemic but lots of people didn't. Lots of people didn't do well through it at all.

Just today I purchased a beater of an old 1970 Mexican Superbee (318 4 speed manual). It seems to be a re-badged Duster with some fancy whiz-bangs on it. From what I understand there were very few made and they were all made in Mexico (obviously). This restoration is going to take many years and I'm looking forward to the project. My question is as follows. From my limited research on these vehicles, it seems that there is no VIN tag on the dash where you would normally find one here in the states. I do have a tag in the drivers side door post that is riveted in place (isn't as long as I'd expect a VIN to be), and I have the fender build plate tag. Haven't found numbers on the core support or under the weatherstripping of the decklid yet. The build codes on the fender look similar to other dusters I've restored over the years but the lack of VIN is a bit strange to me. Maybe it's something to do with the Mexican vehicle construction and they weren't put on the dash like you would normally expect. There are two holes in the dash where a VIN plate would normally be riveted in place, it appears there has never been a plate riveted there. Any insight into where the VIN is located and where I could find translated body codes (some codes I've found, most others are still a mystery). I'm wondering if it's so difficult because the numbers used were different in Mexico than the US. Thanks for reading this, and thanks for the help.

What do the tail lights look like?
 
Here are more photos I took today while working on it a bit. Looks like that decklid has a cut out for a spoiler, which to my knowledge was not included in the cars offering in 1970. The intake manifold appears to be for a spreadbore carb. Would like to know if anyone knows which carb. would normally go there. I only have one 270 HP badge on the hood scoop and am looking for a second one. Someone asked earlier about the tail light configuration and lastly. It appears that I'm missing a badge next to the body code badge. If anyone has any insight into what may have been there, that would be great! I tossed in a Km/h dash shot because I think it's pretty neat as an American to see that. Also, (not pictured) the windows with the Hecho in Mexico on the bottom corner it cool. Enjoy and thanks!

I've never owned a Duster, so is that dash an American piece with kms or are they unique to that model?
