1970 Plymouth Valiant

Hi. All..... I took back roads to work, when i looked at a car that was under a carport. Turn around and I was right it was a 4-door Valiant. Talked with the owner and said that it only has 35,000 miles on it. Second owner. Brought it from orignal owner. Has the paperwork from day one. Has a little rust around the wheel area. He said that it was sitting for a year, and needs a starter. Wants 1,200 for it...Does this sound good? What do you guys think?

just make sure the floor and subframe are fairly good,
and hit the brake pedal a couple times, to be sure they work.

never know. i picked up a 19,000 mile dart sport. it sat out side so it needs floors and paint but its a 19,000 mile car.
