1971 dart from a 318 to a 383

I have a 1971 dart I have a 383 i hope to put in place of the 318 will it be a problem to do?

Are you doing this because you want a Big Block or just the extra cubic inches? I think Scat sells a crank that will give you 384 cubes in a stock bore 318 block, KB has pistons for it. Your car will handle better with the lighter engine if that matters to you...

growing up my partents had a 383 mag r/t challenger and now have a 383 challenger se model so i have a thing for the 383 engine. money wise this is a long term project ionce the engine is in place i'm sure i will be pulling and constent udating parts. i'm just wondering if things like power steering and such compents will give trobl
