J54 is the code for a scoop on a 71-72 Demon.

71 would have the 2 smaller scoops like on a 70 Dart Swinger.

72 has the single snorkel.

The G55 is likely C55 or C56 for bucket seats.

I have heard late '71 demons came through with the snorkel scoop but have no idea if it is fact or not.

Looks like I have a 71 340 Demon with a snorkel hood and hood pins option. It looks far to original I think not to be a part of this car. Its an EV2 color and all under the hood is still in the original paint. Maybe it was a late 71. I was planning on doing a rest but might end up selling it to do another Duster I found with the V24 hood option.

I've only heard of early '72 Demons coming with the '70-'71 dual scoops but not a '71 coming with the '72 Snorkel scoop.

Mine was restored with the '71 dual scoops but the fender tag says nothing about coming with any scoop at all, just a plain hood.
