1971 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 Special

My next project has just arrived from California. This will take a year to start as the 1972 Special is at the shop.

My first observation is that the passenger inner fender has the cut out for the charcoal canister. I thought that was a 1972 offering. the car was built in May 1971.

Any help from the other 1971 Canadian Special owners is appreciated.

In my conversations with scatpacker who along with Cliff Quinand, who are two of the big brains on these Canadian Specials, the 72's are the only year the canister was mounted on the rad support the others were mounted on the inner fender well. Maybe they or some others can confirm.
