Has the car been evaluated by a competent body shop to determine how much structural body and chassis work is required? Are the rockers / floors / and structural pieces salvageable or are they too far gone? Please see the FOR SALE posting by Davescuda for the 1970 Duster 340 - with all the close ups of the undercarriage of his 1970 Duster - those types of photos will go a long way towards getting members interested in the car.

From davescuda posting on the 1970 340 Duster, anyone can see what the condition of the critical unibody structure is - for the car he is selling. GLWS.

I Decoded the fender tag so everyone can see what it is suppose to be versus what may be missing. Only thing I noticed from the epicures is it has the wrong hood and scoops and is missing the passenger side sport mirror.

Is the car running and driving (as i can drive and enjoy as is for a season or two) or is it just running enough to drive up onto a trailer now with the 318 & 727 in it? Also the 340 & 4spd both original or just the block? And do you have everything to put the block back together (pistons, rods, rings, etc etc etc)

A 4spd Demon may look good in the garage next to me other 3 Demon's that are auto's……got me thinking here in Pittsburgh, PA

I like it. man!...Seems like an excellent project for the price as long as it's not rotted away!....What rear end?, gear ratio?, posi?....Is all the interior needs is bucket seat covers?...Do you have all the clutch linkage and clutch pedal parts?

demon34071 thanks for adding the decoded info. The car runs and drives around town, i just replace front suspension parts to include the strut rods, upper control arm bushings, idler arm, and pass side tire rod assembly. The transmission was rebuilt about 200 miles ago prior to deploying. The rear end is pretty steep, nearly 5 turns of the drive shaft to one of the tire. Non posi unit. the 340 is original but the 4 speed is mid 70s. I have internal parts but the pistons pictured are around 12:1 and you will need 4 replacements.

The 4 speed need linkage and a z bar along with small pieces.

all lights and the radio work along with the heater.

The 6 pack and scoops have been sold and also not pictured is the original 120 cluster.

underside pics to follow.

Do you have a clean title for the car? Do you have the build sheet for the car? Is the car currently inspected if so till when?

You said you sold the scoops and 6 pack set up originally posted in the price for $5500 are you lowering the price since these parts are no longer included in the sale?

Do you have pictures of the floor (under the carpet) to see what they did with the 4spd hump since I see you have an aftermarket shifter mounted to the hump, but no picture from the other side. I'm curious is if the cut out, patched etc???

Since the scoops in the pictures where sold what hood is on the car now and do you have the twin snorkel scoop for the hood in the pictures leaning against the wall.

More pics to follow later tonight with numbers and block info. I will have to get the inspection complete tomorrow. priced at 5500 without the 6 pack but I still have the scoops.

Dash numbers. Got the car inspected today. Only needs a few bulbs, passenger seat belt installed(pulled when I got the new carpet), wipers don't work and the breaks work but may need a new owner booster.
