You are buying a 1972 Dodge Demon with the SUPER RARE Factory Canvas Folding Sunroof Top.

This option was only available on the 71 - 72 Dusters and Demons and from everything I can find it appears only a couple hundred are known to have been built. This option is NOT A STANDARD SUNROOF. These cars were taken off the assembly line and sent to an outside vendor where the large hole in the roof was made, a special framework installed and the canvas sliding top was installed. This was supposed to give the feel of a convertible with the safety of a hardtop, according to factory literature.

All the canvas top components are there and very nice. The only things broken are the tension cables and they should be no issue to have made. The latch works perfectly and all of the bows are very nice as well and slide fine. The special headliner pieces are in place and nice as well.

The car is a 1972 Demon that was originally a 318, column auto shift, factory a/c and p/s. It is white (all original paint still) with a green deluxe interior.

The car is missing the engine and transmission but the body is fairly complete otherwise. It has a 7 1/4 rear end and the 10" drum brakes standard to the V-8 cars.

The body has some exterior rust but no structural rust and very nice frame rails, firewall, inner fenders, perfect roof section, nice trunk lid. very nice floors. I do not see where the car has ever been badly wrecked.

The rockers have rust (this is because the sunroof drains drop off into the rockers I believe), the trunk floor center has rust, both lower rear quarters and quarter extension have rust. I will include a perfect original set of rockers with the car and the quarter patches and extensions are available new.

The hood is damaged and rusty in the front and really needs replaced but all latches are in place. The hood hinges are bent as someone tried to close the hood with a stuck hinge but I will include a very nice set of correct hinges with the car.

The grille has a couple cracked places but is repairable and the headlight trims look nice. The headlight mounting buckets are not installed but are included. The tail light lenses both have some cracks and are driver quality. The tail panel is super solid but has some damage in the center that will need repaired.

The doors open and close fine and the windows roll up and down nice.

The dash pad will need replaced but the trim bezels, a pillar trims, cluster and glove box door are not broken. The original AM radio is still in place. All the glass looks nice except for the windshield is starting to fog at the corners but is not broken and could be used if wanted.

The front valance is missing but they are available new reproduction.

The car rolls and steers fine and all tires hold air. All 4 original 14" wheels are included as well as the original hubcaps.

The fender tag is the correct original one that I cleaned up so you could read it easier. The V3W on the tag is the code the shows it is a factory equipped folding roof car.

I have CLEAR TITLE and the VIN number, door sticker number and fender tag numbers all match the title.

This is a SUPER RARE CAR that would be the only one at your local show and possibly even most National events.

The price is 2750.00 and I accept paypal as well as credit cards. Of course cash on pickup is prefered.

The car is located in Alma, Arkansas 72921 (13 miles from the Arkansas - Oklahoma border and right on I-40).
