1972 Dodge Super Bee (Mexican)

Hello all new to the group and was wondering if some one could help me with a few questions about a 1972 Dodge Super Bee (Mexican) with a 318:

1. It is my understanding that these are A-Bodies and are more or less the Mexican cousin of the Dodge Dart/Duster of the same year, is this correct?

2. Will a 360 fit in the car as is?

3. If any one as any information on this car please share.

1. Yes, but its the Dodge Dartsport/Demon, and Dart
2. Yes, a 360 bolt right in, same as a 340
3. This is about all the info about your car I can help with.
 
Nice looking car!

The 360 should fit fine, but I think the passenger side engine mount is different. It bolts up, but you'll need a 360 mount if you don't have one.
 
Wow that was fast, thank you everyone. Okay now the next question is if I wanted a street and strip car, which would be better the 340 or 360? Keep in mind that I live south of the border and traffic laws are more of a suggestion than actual laws.
 
340=High revving motor/more Hp are high rpm
360=torque monster, remember from a dead stop its all about torque
My vote for you is a 360

Dart sport didnt start untill 73 sorry just had to :thumleft:
