This tranny cross member was removed from a original paint basin blue 340 4 speed duster.

Was soaked in simple green degreaser and scrubbed. Still has all the original paint markings and undercoating ect.

Great original crossmember , would be great for a orig. restoration or for reference

That's not a 1972 model year part, it's a 73 + spool style

Unlike the B body stuff, trans crossmembers on A bodies are the same style auto or 4 speed for each year. No 4 speed specific x member
 
You realize they interchange easily from 73+ to 67-72. It wasn't all original if it had that part on it!

It's a 73+ part regardless of the car you removed it from. I have one on my 70 swinger... Go look on rock auto or any other parts site for a 70-72 trans mount. Look in a parts book, not the pic, the part numbers for 72 and see if the early one is the same.
 
Could you still mount the 904 and 727 on the 73+ like you could on the 67-72? If so I will take it the one on my demon is cracked.
