Welcome home......AGAIN! lol

Spent the day installing a pillar, headliner trim and seatbelts. Filled her up with gas and drove 45 miles home from the shop. Power steering is perfect and steering is a dream. Even cracked on the heat and had to deal with a little rain. Speedo stops at 50 mph so I guess I can always say that is how fast I was going! Tomorrow is thorough clean and some polish.

Ain't it so darn funny how good these old cars make us feel!!!

Speedo who needsit ust ke working gas gauge, I just use the tach and carry a can of gas!!!

Lol....well this one doesn’t have a tach. I can assume since I was following the flow of traffic I was doing at least 65!

If you had the speedometer pinion out of the trans, did you get it clocked right when you put it back? They gotta be turned a certain way, depending on tooth count of the pinion.

Ok so I am a bit of a perfectionist. So paint needs help. This car will have to wait for it though. I have the hood treatment for ladder bars and another tail panel overlay waiting on it. Got some soap and polish and I looks like a 46 year old nickel....I need to spend some more time on the Ansen wheels and the chrome. On the hunt for a new front bumper....I just can’t take it...

A little cold here today so it took a bit to get her going. Still trying to find the correct choke for the car.

Spent the day at the shop. Always something to do. Sandblasted a pile of stuff, painted. Parts prep for the machine shop. Ended the day with dinner with car club. 4 1/2 month old fell asleep in the Demon....

Console has to go away. I crawled all over it today. Going to get it up on lift and tally the amount of sheet metal it needs. I may just repair and blend and drive the **** out of it for awhile.

Ok team...been driving the piss out of the car as a daily. 66 mile round trip every day. Calculated the gas mileage to be 26mpg off the viscous 1bbl.
