Hello,
I am new to FABO and would like to share my new resto project. I posted about the find on the welcome wagon forum, a 1972 Duster i found behind an Auto shop. I inquired with the owner and he said he'd had it for 8 years. A guy brought it in to get it running so his 16 year old daughter could drive it. Seeing the work that needed done, he abandoned the car there. Shop owner said he had a storage title and was going to scrap it and would take 500$. I bought it and had it towed to my place. It does not run, tho it turned over (before I pulled the starter). I know it needs a starter, fuel tank and a radiator. It needs some wiring, and brake work. It has an Edelbrock performer intake, and a Holley 4bbl. It is an original 2bbl 318 but set up with the 4bbl. Could have a cam. I don't have a ton of money to put into the project right now so I am just doing some elbow grease type stuff. Lemme know what you think!
