1972 Duster , starting to tear into the build

Got headliner mostly installed , and I would prefer to stretch a headliner any day compared to the ABS plastic board like this lol , of course I was working alone , and its white so now it will need cleaned in small spots but oh well , not going to remove and trim any areas like most have had to do , although one spot may have needed it or I got it twisted some , as I was just shy on drivers front corner but the rear shifted differently , but one side I can use something to get up like Velcro or something to hold corner in place , have a-pillars on an sail panels , all I need is the trim in between installed but looks like it will fit , front I am waiting on the new rearview mirror to arrive then I can finish , looks like it will fit good to seal to windshield gasket ,,the rear gasket was close , may need to do something but going to wait until it gets out in the heat to see if it lays better , but over all not really that bad , so little more work and touch up and cleaning since its white , love the white but dam hard not to keep clean when installing ,and since a 72 never had a fold down seat , made the sail panels not easy to install next to wheel wells plastic covers but made work , I like it so far

Working on front buckets , had to cut out upper rod that seat cover attaches to , as these seat frames are out of a 73 cuda and my covers an new foam are for duster 73 , and the rod is made an located differently , so few cuts and have it placed an loop placed , just need to finish welding in some ends to complete , last picture shows foam out of the cuda , and that rod is higher and gives a curve , were duster is lower an sits straight ,but its lining up good after moving , about to install new foam on drivers side, but haven't got foamed stripped off passenger side , almost a shame to remove the original foam as its in great shape , but it just too different than my duster seats and
need to be moved

Did one of the seat backs this afternoon , few wrinkles to work on but some heat and ice will lay most of those down, still looks great

Took me a minute to figure out the seal on front windshield , the extra flap of rubber tucks in to the groove instead of the bead piece of rubber , lays down better for a proper fit when molding is installed , just posting pictures if any need to see it as I never did see a picture showing how , and never had done one before myself , looks great after I removed the bead and then tucked the rubber , glad I never cut it off lol
