Many years ago I had a 72 Challenger with a 340. Just curious if any Mopars in 72 came with a Holley carb or if it would have been a TQ replacement.
I can get #'s if need be.

It would have been a TQ on a 340. A lot of guys swapped them and found no gain or less power.
 
Its probably worth more hanging on my wall as "shop art" than anything else.

All the slant 6's, 360's, 400 2bbl's, and 440's used Holleys that year.
 
I have had 3 cars that came with Thermoquads ( 2 '72 340's and a '76 360). They are good carbs but I find them hard to adjust & maintain adjustment. I replaced them with the Holley spreadbore listed as the stock replacement & loved them. No bog and you could roll into it and spin the tires.
