Check out this video to see the progress on my 1972 Plymouth Scamp bought in northern Wisconsin. I started on this car the fall of 2024 and hope to have it done by May 2025.

Jim, it looks like you have a really good starting point and the supervisor isn't pleased with you slacking while taking pictures. LMAO

Nice !! I always liked Scamps. Neighbor bought one new.I was taken by it.
My new project is being shipped and arrives sometime the week of the 27th.
It's a 72 Dart.I'll be watching you and your progress.Keep us informed.

Looking real good Jim!

Two questions:
1. What did you use for the roof seam on the B pillar, tiger hair?
2. What are the round things you used to hold the patches in place when you welded them, almost look like magnets?

Thanks!

I have posted photos of the products you asked about. The magnets work awesome to hold the two panels flush while you get it fit and tacked. They are extremely strong.

Fiberglass reinforced body filer is also waterproof! Great for a "base" and then smooth out with the "regular" stuff. Hard a heck to sand!!
Think I would prefer to go this route vice leading the joint like the factory did. As long as it stays put I would be good with it.
