61k miles NUMBERS MATCHING, we just looked to confrim this. tranny, motor and body all have the same vin#

car was bought in Santa Barbara and has lived is whole life in California.

Rebuilt original motor, original Hurst shifter on original 4spd, High rise edlebrock manifold with brand new edlebrock four barrel carburetor. Runs amazing.

8 3/4 posi sure grip rear end. 321 gears.

New exhaust

Dash is original but cracked

Seats are in beautiful shape. Original rear seat in perfect shape.

I have all the decals

new white letter tires

refurbished rallye wheels with all the rings and centers, not seen in pictures

new high torque starter

I have all the lights and emblems. Everything that appears missing is just not on the car. I was going to get it painted but I have twins on the way and need the money.

Comes with car cover.

rear passenger quarter panel has some rust

clutch needs some adjusting

the engine bay was over sprayed.

I still have the orginal car manual with the original owners name on the 12 year 12k mile warranty form.

car runs great
I was driving it a short distance everyday to work
now it sits in the garage.
I have too many cars for my tight living area
I drove it 400 miles straight from central Cal.
These are getting hard to find with all the original stuff minus paint.

uh?
Im not an expert on these. I thought it was all those things.
What ever came stock on a 73 340
I know for sure its posi, both wheels move in the same direction when one is turned.
8 3/4 I have been told
sorry for my ignorance and the confusion. :???:

If its original it should be an 8 3/4.......all 340 Duster's had the 8 3/4 rear....most were sure grip but there were several open rears.......

wrong...8 3/4 rear end in A bodies ended in 1972 A bodies...

a 73 340 duster will have a 8 1/4 under it...

in fact I changed out the 8.25 in my 73 340 Duster to a 8 3/4.....

thanks

I dont know
It was painted before we bought it by the second owner.
must have been paint in the late eighties or so.
not sure.

If it was close to me here in Ontario Canada @$10000 I would be there to get it within hours. Although I have thought about a road trip!!!

if I had a nickle for everyone that claims they would buy the car if only it was closer,
I would not have to sell that car.
