This is a 340 that was pulled from a 73 Cuda, it was a strong running engine that has just over 30K on a .030" rebuild. This block was cast on May 29, 1973 and was assembled on May 30, 1973. The engine was the 139th built in the Windsor, Ontario plant that day. Numbers on pan rail are 3B576569. This is not far from being one of the last of the 340's built.

The "587" heads have the 1.88 1.60 valves and open chamber, basically like "J" heads. This has an Edelbrock Competition Series carb, factory electronic distributor, Holley valve covers, air gap intake and E-body pan. I have a set of correct 73 exhaust manifolds that go with it. I originally bought this engine to put in my 74 Duster but got convinced to go big block and now have a 440 that will be in it now.

I'm asking $1,250 for it OBO. Engine is located in Fresno, CA. Prefer local pickup but will put it on a pallet and strap it for shipping for an extra fee.

I also have an MSD 6 box and billet distributor for and extra $150 if the buyer of the engine is interested, NOT FOR SALE SEPARATE.
