Some mopar cars came late to get a coolant tank from the factory. Did 73 A bodies come with one from the Factory? I know 74 Dusters did.

I had a couple 73s, no overflow bottles. I had a couple 74s & they DID have them. I do have one from a 74, but I don't think I have the bracket.

You may have to use an aftermarket overflow because they never left room for one. I have 71 Cuda and no tank, couldn't use one from a later model E body because of the lack of room. I used an 80 Honda Civic over flow tank to do the job.

Any 73 I had came with the over flow bottle. But u need the 73 bottle as it has the hoses in the cap and therefore it is narrower than a 74/5/6. The others have a nipple on top for the rad and a tube on the outside of the bottle. Kim

The pics with the hoses in the cap is 1973. The other pics for comparison are 1974/5/6. Kim

I should be the one with the cap supporting two hoses.

My Duster came with an aftermarket bottle when I bought it back in the day.
So it‘s hard to tell…

sorry i ran out of minutes on my cell phone . i will try and take a pic with my lap top and post it here.

Was the OF bottle only available on max cooling cars in 73 or was that an option that was available to the public? What did the cop/taxi cars come with?

My cars were. 1. 340 duster. 3. 318 dusters and a slant duster. All these were bare bones. Not 1 had a/c. Maybe it was different up here in Canada. Kim

I have a spare. I can bring it to Carlisle. I picked up a NOS one last year. First pic is my new one. Second is the spare. No holes, has cap and bracket. It’s all there.
