I think they A) over tightened em or B) it was locked that well. Yes #4 main cap.
 
Wow! Busted main cap? how the hell did that happen?

They do look sharp.

Chrysler painted cars of all makes and models in the same color, down the paint booth assembly line.

I wouldn't be surprised if that car and this Charger that we restored at our shop saw the same production plant -

Its getting parted sadly, It'll be replaced with another A-body.
 
Thats a shame, even though its pretty rough! Maybe restore one of those /6 a bodies in the yard mentioned earlier!
 
We decided to just stash it in the field for now. Scamp should be here soon.
 
I haven't forgot about this one nor my GTS just since I got the Scamp I've been working on it more. I now have the 340 all apart and will be building it this summer along with the 727 and using it in my Scamp til I have the Duster ready to drop a motor/trans back into. Going next year to vocational school for auto body so I can get the bodywork just right on this.
