Nobody was interested in the Duster with a engine, trans or exhaust.
So I will offer it as a roller.
Car will be sold as in the other add minus the engine headers, torque converter and exhaust.

The car has gone 11.59 with a mild 440.
The vinyl top should be replaced.
Aluminum radiator.
BandM shifter.
Trans.
Koleen steels.
Alto bands.
reverse manual valve body.
Bolt in sprag.
Sub frame connecters.
8 1/4 rear end with sure grip 3.91 gears.
Doe's come with a 8 3/4 rear end housing and stock axels.
Nice black interior.
7 point roll bar with swing out drivers door bar.
Full back seat.
Hood scoop.
Hole cut in hood for the scoop.
Manual steering and brakes.
Disc brakes up front.
Nise tack.
Line lock on shifter.

This will make one great street car or put it on the strip

Price is $5500.
Located Woodburn,Oregon.

Liked it better with the motor, i think a bunch of us are interested just got to wait for holidays to get done!!!!! or at least thats what im waiting on!!!!!

mudddog,
I thought no one was even considering the car.
I see a lot of Dusters on here for sale and I figure that the price is on track.
The car is for sale anyway some one would want it.
The engine is at the machine shop now getting it freshened up.
I know we have smart people on this board.
Just putting the engine together would cost the $8500 that I'm asking for the car.
The only draw back on the car is the 8 1/4 rear end. but I'm giving a 8 3/4 housing with the sale.
All you would need is the axel's and the center section.
With a almost stock 440 it went 12.21 and putting a set of Stage 6 heads on it went 11.70 something.
If someone wanted it with a almost stock 440 I would put that in with Schumacher headers.
It would still be $8500.
But a great street machine.

Cage is legal to 10 second flat.
Has drive shaft loop that bolts to the back of the transmission.

451cuda.

Scat rods $500
Ross pistons $500
Forged crank $200
Balancing to .010 grams $300
Bearings $200
High volume oil pump $85
Milodon oil pan and pick-up $300
Hughs cam $200
Rhodes lifters $600
Smith Bro Push rods $200
Eldelbrock Heads and cnc Porting $2400
Mopar roller rockers $280
M-1 intake $200
Hooley 750 Douple Pumper $350
Msd distibutor$200
Mopr MSD box $200
TTi Headers $800
Gasket set $65
Block $400
Race prep machine work and assembly $1400

Total $8835
Some of these prices are for new parts and some are for used, some I got a good price on.

This engine went 10.71 in my 67 Dart.
All I was saying was that for the price of the engine you get the whole car.
If you tried to get a machine shop to balance a rotating *** to .010 gram most shops would charge $4-500 if they would do it.it take a race shop to usually get this done.

Most looks pretty close but Rhodes Lifters are like $160.

Anyway...I thought you meant the mild 440 that went 11.59. That's doable for a lot less than $8500, like less than half.

Schubeck lifters not Rhodes.

And you are correct.
I went 11,59 on a junkyard 440 with the pistons .160 down the hole with just a performer RPM intake Holley 750 Vaccum carb,Schumacher headers,
and shooting it for 150 hp of NOS.

Pic of that engine.

Car went 12.21 off the Juice and 11.59 on it.

Them putting a set of stock Stage 6 heads on and changing nothing else it went 11.70 something off the NOS.

And with the 440 listed above.

Engine is atthe macine shop getting freshened up.
The ring will not be gapped this time for Nos.As I have never used the NOS on this engine.

Hope this adds some clarity to this post.
