I have a 1975 Plymouth Duster with what looks to be the hang ten interior used on the dart I bought the car in 1978 from a friend and I know she never changed it. It has a factory sunroof, fold down rear seat and a 360 High Perfomance engine assuming that's what the 360hp stamped on the side of the block means. Anyway my question is I cannot find any information on this car none what so ever. Everything I find having to do with the hang ten package is about the dart. I found in several places that in 1975 only 1,421 dusters with a 360 were sold but what I would really like to know is how many with this interior and sunroof option any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks a bunch I'm new to the forum so I hope i posted this in the right thread.

See if you can find a broadcast sheet and get it decoded. If it is legit, its a very rare car and worth investigating. Look under the springs under the back seat bottom or possibly taped to the glove box. good luck

i found my broadcast sheets under the dr. seat bottom and under the springs on the rear seat back.

I think A63 is the hang ten sales code, it should be on your fender tag if you have it; though i guess that might be a dart only package code.

first off welcome aboard! second off where are you from? you don't have your location filled out in your signature. from what info i have on this car, i would have to say it is called a "decorator special". plymouth did not use the "hang ten" logo. this "decorator special" option is plymouths version of the darts "hang ten" option . 1975 was the first year for this option. does it have buckets and a console? does it have its origional side stripes? first year for those stripes also. so far no one is reproducing those stripes. we need pictures! also i forgot look on the fender tag or build sheet for a code "A-62" this will prove what it is.

Well I went out to the car and looked it has an A-63 which according to some people is the dart hang ten option not sure though. Yes it does have bucket seats and a console and the orginal stripe kit. I'm so glad somebody knows something about this car. Thanks a lot for your help everyone. I will try and post some photos later. I'm from Frederick, MD by the way- Thanks again

a-63 is the hang ten option code??? it should be a-62 though. do you have the build sheet? maybe you can see if it matches. does the door panel have the stripes at the top just below the window bt about 4 or 5 inches. then it should go into white for the armrest area then back into the stripes on down. car should be white with white interior. stripes on bucket seats are in the center section on bottom and through the top. the upper part of the seat is white.

found a picture!

That picture is identical to the interior in my duster. Do you know if that's a rare package for a 75 duster with a 360hp motor? Haven't got the build sheet yet. Working on getting that and some pictures for you tommorow.

from what i can tell it has to be rare. i cannot see where they continued this option into 76. 1975 360 dusters are pretty rare to begin with. this has to narrow it down considerably.....

I don't want you to constantly worry about this car. It will affect your health. Just ship it to me (I'll pay shipping of course) and all your troubles will be gone. But seriuosly, I would research the daylights out of this. In addition to being a neat looking and driving car, it has to be pretty damn rare. Unfortunately, it is a 1975 and 99.9% of the people don't consider cars this new muscle cars and are ignorant about them. Its a rare car, yes. Will it be worth a small fortune some day? I doubt it. I do know that I would love to own it. Good luck with it.
