I believe that part is called a latch tray. The core support is a welded piece across the front that part attaches to. Its where the antifreeze decal is usually stuck onto. Don't cut anything off yet, as I may have a line on one locally.
 
I was planning on cutting the support off tomorrow. I'm glad you let me know beforehand. Let me know if you cant get one local. I'm more than happy to cut it off for you. Thanks.
 
Got lots more parts pulled from the car. Shell is going to scrap this week on the green one. All usable or restorable parts will be pulled. So let me know what you need. Thanks.
 
7.25 rearend. I can pull drums and backing plates if you want them $65 plus shipping. Engine and transmission are /6 and 904 $150 plus shipping or local pick up. I just pulled the radio yesterday, good shape intact harness, AM only radio $25 plus shipping.

So I only have good drivers side quarter panels. Both good rockers, inner and outer fender wells. At least they look to be on the outers only surface rust. If when I cut into them it changes I would let you know.
 
Green car shell has been hauled out to scrap. Lots of good parts pulled off and for sale still. Gold car will be parted completely and gone in the next week or so. Let me know what you need.
 
Where are you located?? I could use some stuff that would be to big to ship.
