198 worth?

What would a 198 be worth? I don't have any I am just wandering I know where there are several cars and at least one has a 198.

i don't remember idf it was the 198 or 170 . but one of them the rods are worth quite a bit. they use them to strok a 225 or something. ask around on the the slant six forums they should know.

its the 198 rods. they are easily worth 200. on /6.org and sell quickly.

I have a 198 for sale but it stays between the fenders of the 71 swinger it resides in.LOL.

Good running little motor too, them 198's.

The price of the 198 rods has dropped considerably because we now have the K1 rods available. By the time you fine 2.2 pistons and recondition the rods you can buy modern aftermarket ones.

If you knew someone who wanted to build a 170 based stroker? They can use the 198 crank.
