Not sure if anyone here might know about this car but i'll give it a shot. My grandmother has one that she uses as her daily driver. The other day it just wouldn't start. It turns over and over and just doesn't pop. the battery keeps dying. I am trying to figure out whats causing it not to spark. I am going to put a new coil on it but I fear that its the ECM Computer that is on the breather. Not sure if anyone out there is familiar with it or not but any ideas would be great.

Sounds like the dreaded Lean Burn, a good idea that was tripped up by a bad implementation. You can backdate it to the earlier, familiar orange box by following this article:

Save the distributor, though - EFI guys like myself can find them very useful.

Have you checked to see if it is getting both fuel and spark?? And at the right time?

thanks for the link, if it was my car and smog exempt I would for sure switch it back to the old school. I doubt my grandmother would allow me to experiment on her car.
She was told by a few mechanics that her computer was bad so I am pretty sure that is what is causing the problem. I know its getting fuel because you can smell it, seems the car is flooding its self.
