I'm not sure if it's just me or what? It seems that if my car is in drive the wheels have alot harder time breaking loose from a dead stop verses having the tranny down in 1st on the shifter? Is there a difference in the way the tranny engages? It is a 904 with a crappy B&M kit. I hope to get a nice aftermarket tranny and converter this summer.

In low the low reverse band is on. You may have band adjust issues or valve body timing. I hate those B&M kits. A decent TF2 or build your own by a good tranny guy is the best bet.

Also the line pressure is most of the time higher with many kits in manual low. Could have other issues too, hard to say with out a gauge on it and a road test..

Thanks djwhog, I guess for now if I want to check my posi tire patterns then I will just drop it in first.......
