Should my drivers door have this recess for the side veiw mirror or is this the result of the mirror being struck.

well i know on the 68 cudas and dart they are flat if there is or isn't a mirror... just holes or not...

No, the mirror shouldnt be recessed.

I have a door off a yellow 65formula S in my garage, and there is no crease, or recess for the mirror. Plan is to fill in the barracuda trim holes and drill for dart trim when I get to the body work on my car.

Can dig it out of the corner of the garage and take a pic tomorrow for you.
