[WANTED] 2.93 Ring & Pinion 489 Case

Looking for a nice used set or oem new set of 2.93 ring & pinion for a 489 case. Or possible a complete posi 489 chuck.

I have a 489 case with a 3.23 gear set, open/no sure grip that I would sell for $100 + shipping if that would work.

I have an NOS 2.76 ring and pinion. Part number is 3549061.
My 1970 parts book doesn't say which housing it fits, but it does say the spline is 1 7/8" and 29 tooth which sounds HD to me.

2.94 was not a common ratio for the 489 case.

MUCH more common to find 2.94 in a 742 or 741 case.

2.94 was REAL common in 66/67 B body cars.

By the time the 489 was in production most common ratios were 2.76 and 3.23.

I'm thinking the 1 7/8 pinion shaft is for the 742 case. At least that's what my mind is telling me.
