Hi all, Ive decided to our 2 cudas up for sale. There is one stipulation though, I will not split them up. Well, I will BUT the 69 convertible goes 1st. This is not a fire sale by any means, but Ive reached a point where I dont have the time needed to put towards 2 50+ year old cars.
69.....
It is a 69 340 4speed Formula S convertible. There were 34 of these made. A true A53 pkg car, I have the original rusty fendertag and had a reproduction one made. It was a very rusty Canadian car that I stumbled across and saved almost 30 years ago. It did/does not have the original engine, but I have a complete 69 date code 340(needs teardown) that will go with it. Also I am in the midst of putting together a 70 340(0.030) all freshly machined. With freshened X heads. Original 8 3/4 3:23, as well as original 4 speed.(gone thru by local transmission shop).
Although it is a Formula S, it was a stripped down one. Drums all the way around, 120 speedo. I have since acquired a factory tach and spent good $$ getting it upgraded to electronic board.
The car needs work/assembly it is all metal, but needs tweaking and finishing.
New AMD floor pan, new AMD inner fenders, NOS vert 1/4 panel.
NOS fender and one near mint one.
Professionally restored trunk panel
Original console, shifter, NOS boot
150 speedo with trip
Factory tach upgraded(electronic board)
Factory hipo 340 manifolds.
Complete top frame/pump(needs new fabric)
Factory 69 340 rad recored.($600 to recore alone)
2 nice original inst bezels
Original rear springs re-arched
KH disc brakes.
I would estimate that the car is 95% complete as far as parts.
It is a PROJECT, but a rare one with a lot of the hard to find pieces already gathered up over 30 years. I have grilles that I started to restore but havent completed yet.
Im sure I could add more, any questions just ask or pm me.

67 S fastback....
This was Dads car. I found it for him on here and 3 of us picked it up in 2012. Dad passed in 2014 and I purchased it from the estate.
Technically Dad was 3rd owner. Originally a California car, we have one of the original black plates.
I had an electrical issue in 2018, and it was difficult to fix by myself so frustration grew and the car has stayed in storage since. It may come out this year, we will see. Ive found that fishing is a buttload easier on the soul than banging my head in frustration with electrical lol.
Beautiful car that has had one repaint in original color.
How it was ordered
273 Commando,auto trans/904, 8 3/4 3:23, console, A/C(tinted glass), factory tach(deluxe interior pkg), disc brakes, rear defrost.
We have the original block, intake and I bought a set of used Commando pistons.
Engine that is in it Dad and I put a new top end in it from Comp Cams(cam, lifters, dbl roller timing chain and gears)Magnum 224/224 Solid Flat Cam and Lifter Kit for Chrysler 273-360
Engine in car is a date coded correct 273(2bl pistons), I also added an LD4B.
Upgraded electronic ignition.
I have all the original underhood AC pieces.
Spare 67 frame I just had powder coated.
The car is beautiful and the price reflects that, like I said its not a fire sale.
You get both cudas and ALL the Mopar extras that I have.
2@ 318's, 1 is 70 with steel crank.
2@ 340's(1 freshly machined and being assembled)
LD340
Original 273 commando block(i know I know, BUT it was a commando)
904
And much more.
Im sure there is more that Ive forgotten, but I will add. The price for both and all our extras is $35k, it sounds like a lot and I agree, it is. But you get a lot of car(s) for that price. The 67 cant be bought seperately, but the 69 can. I may also entertain trade(s) plus cash my way.
I would entertain a boat, but it has to be a "fish n ski" style. One I could take grandbabies tubing/skiing and fishing, aluminum. Cash also my way.
Pics coming, I dont have pics on this computer.
Thanks
Steve

Trade, How 'bout a 97 Jeep TJ lifted and a 76 Harley Shovelhead custom

I've been keeping my eyes open for a roller for my powertrain. Your 67 is a prime candidate. So if the vert goes, I might be interested.. Might be.
Already got sheds full of stuff... so not interested in your stuff; except maybe spare sheet metal.

Sorry Artie, looking for something different for a trade. Boat? I was boat "shopping" today.

AJ, if the vert goes by itself, I may keep the 67.

Sorry bout inbox, made some room

Nice boat, also picked up 340 rad from Don. He added another row, so it has 3 new rows.. Split the tank to make it deeper. Also.
Pricey but nice!
