On the way home from work ... @ 18:14 hours , my '72 Coronet turned-over the 200,000 miles mark ! :wav:.
That's 200,000 on its crankcase (timing chain , etc. , replaced 75,000 ago and is in great condition still) components , valves , cam , all the fun stuff !

Yes , a 318 ... kinda forgot to mention that :sleepy2:
As far as pics ; sorry to disappoint , but I have no (known) way to post 'em . I only have a camera as part of my cellphone .
Someday , though ... some day .

i take pics with my phone, send them to my email account, open and save them to my puter and upload them here, just sayin' . that great mileage on the ol' 18

A few years ago I sold a 1986 Dodge B150 Van that I purchased new. When I sold it, it had 301,000 miles on it, and was completely original. The ONLY repairs I did to that van was to replace the A/C compressor at about 125,000 miles, and a few water pump replacements. That's it.
The guy who purchased it from me, used it as his daily work truck for his carpentry business. He put another 140,000 on it before he sold it. At the point it was re-sold it had 441,000+ miles on the original engine and drive train.

It was a 318 2BBl with a 904 (999) auto behind it.

Sometimes the factory just get's it right.

Congrats on your first 200K!
