I'm not sure just what he expects.........to trade a 500 dollar junker and 200 bucks for a 1500 dollar truck that runs, maybe? and.......a 4x4 (that presumably works correctly?) to boot!!!

Let's add this up

Body, paint, and interior are trashed.

Reverse does not work, so it needs a transmission

4x4 does not work, but as always, "it's an easy fix"

But hey!!! it "runs awesome!!"

**TRADE 94 dodge ram needs work for FORD/DODGE 4X4 TRUCK**

Hi I have a 94 dodge ram 1500 short bed 4x4 that needs work and its a daily driver!
The reverse went out in it so can't park where you have to back out. The 4x4 stopped working and i am not mechanically inclined to fix it. Could be an easy fix but who knows? Everything else works on the truck. Its a 94 dodge ram 1500 short bed auto, p.s. p.b., a/c stereo, PW, pdl. Runs awesome! Want to trade for 77-79 or 92-96 ford f250 or f150 4x4 auto longbed or OLDER dodge 3/4 4x4 longbed. I can put in $200 cash plus my truck. Clean title!
Email me and will go from there. Thanks

"But, but, but...the fender flames must be worth $1000 right there!"

So he's willing to pay me $200 in cash, plus the truck to haul the heap away? Sounds like a reasonable deal. Except for that part about giving him another vehicle in trade.

Someone ought to trade him just what he wants - with twice the hidden surprises in it. Would serve him right for trying to screw over someone else.

It's too bad - as bad as it is, someone who likes digging through 46RE's might enjoy that thing as a "few-weekends" beater truck project. Maybe a sacrificial winter snowplow truck.
