Does anyone know if 2015 challenger would have the same lug pattern as our older cars had with the larger BBP? My friend wants to run his 2015 scat pack in May and I told him he could borrow my slicks if they fit. Going to try them on Saturday morning but didnt know if they had a metric pattern that matched or something different.
Thanks Rod

All Lx cars like the Challenger have a 5x115 bolt pattern, compared to the 5x114.3 pattern of your wheels. Not much of a difference at all. It will work.

Love to know what you find.

I've posted various things about this for awhile ago, and then gave up. Found info in places that listed 114.3 for the bolt pattern, even measured a steel wheel with a wheel pattern gauge and came back feeling like the 115 number was just rounded off for documentation but it was really 114.3. Tried measuring it in other places and didn't feel as comfortable that they were 114.3. In the end, I don't know.

I do know that several have done it, and some have had problems and others have not.

I can report back on how I made out with my slicks for his 2015 Challenger. The caliper and rotor are to large for the 15" wheel to go over them. I couldnt even get the wheel near the studs. Guess the bolt pattern doesnt matter! So I guess he will have to run the car with the street tires on.

I have even heard it is different on the AWD compared to the RWD. Personally I say 5x115 is the same as 5x4.5, just a rounding error. That .7 mm difference is in diameter which translates into .35mm at the lug. Go look at a mm on a ruler and then cut it into 1/3 of that and tell me that makes a difference. It is less then 4 human hairs thick.

But what I found out was that a 15" rim does not clear the rotor and caliper so you cant get the rim even close to the studs! So bolt pattern really doesnt matter in my case!

There is a conversion kit to use the 15 inch wheels. I read it at a new Challenger forum.

On the other direction the front either needs some kind of three quarter inch spacer cause the centers won't fit or like I used an inch and a quarter adapter or you can hog out the center of the rims a little bit to slip over the older style rotors and you need smaller than stock tires. Now the rears need to be spaced out so the deeply inset rims won't touch the springs or in my case I have e body width rear axle with the purchase it at a body so I have an extra 2 inches on each side and don't have a problem putting these modern rims on now this is with the duster with the bigger wheel well openings. I don't think this would work with it Dart or such. For all intent and purposes the bolt patterns exactly the same and certainly not enough to argue.
