Didn’t get to talk to him much afterwards. Just a brief moment when we rolled up to the red light, but it turned green quickly. But both cars have 3.55 gears and manual trans. Not sure what gear he was in when all this started, but I was in 3rd at very low rpm's. He got the hit and off we went. He was shifting gears and I never got out of third. He had about a half fender on me and as I hit 5 grand I was starting to pull on the GT. Then we let out. Not disappointed at all that he had a small lead on me. Just glad my old dodge could hang with one of the newer cars.

This was a rare thing for me as I haven't street raced in almost 30 years. Just got caught up in the moment. I am satisfied and over it now.

Yeah man those newer cars can give you a run for your money even when you’re running a low to mid 11 sec street car.
I won’t even fool with these new ricers.
I did spank a 500 hp BMW and he took it pretty hard....even flipped me off and so did his gf.
Lol.

Sore losers. LOL.
I believe I could have beat if I had dropped down to second. He definitely was in a lower gear than me. But, I really wasn't planning on racing.
