2019 Mopar Nationals and storm damage update

-
Today was nice considering how much damage that storm caused yesterday. Quite a few cars experienced some minor damage.
I was told that over 10 tents were blown down.
The big talk back in the dregs of the swap area was that “A” body’s, the Viper and the Survivor tents were down.
I had been asked at Carlisle to bring mine up to the Survivors display, but I didn’t have the A/C sorted out yet. Kinda glad I didn’t get it fixed.
The foot traffic was light, but not bad. I hope tomorrow really takes off. I have keys and a cutter with me. If you need keys, take advantage of the “put Chris out of business” special. Keys are 2 pair, cut, for $10.
I’m sold out of some early 60s stuff but have plenty of the most common keys.
If I don’t see you , have great show!

We went again this year. It's sad to see the lots that used to be filled with cars is now just parking lots. Has changed a lot in the last 5 years. Seems to get a little smaller each year. Still have fun every year and love our Mopars, just makes me wonder what the next year will look like.

i wonder how many cars was there? I know I walked for 2 Days and didn’t see all the cars I know they moved cars to different locations. swap meet seemed good. Legendary interior Was doing 25% off and 1/2 shipping off my son purchased all new interior for his Demon. I met guys from Oklahoma Canada and several other states. hopefully it keeps going so many are dying off like monster Mopar in St.Louis. I’m lucky only to have to drive 7 hours to get there. Hope to be there next year. KB9GIB

Some photos of the 2019 HDK Tent prior it's untimely demise have finally surfaced.
Yes, we had a great Nat's but for what it could have been. It was gone in minutes.

Gene Dunlop (w/ sunglasses and in his Rod Shop Team shirt) is stranding next to the Missiles in the third picture down. Steve Atwell sent the newly discovered 75 Rod Shop drop nose Pro Stock / Gas Dart is its unrestored glory....the race car is a time capsule. Gene said he drove the Dart several times when there was a scheduling conflict with its main pilot, Bob Riffle. Bob was invited, but graciously declined due to his health that keeps him somewhat close to his home.
