2019 Stickshift Challenge @ The Nats

Stickshift Challenge at the Mopar Nats. Brewers Performance will be on board again this year with checks to winner/ru of 500/250 respectively bringing total purse to:

Winner $1500
Runner Up $650
Semis $100

They’ll be a custom made trophy and free shirts to participants like years past.

Bring out those sticks and have some fun.

What are the rules for the challenge?

Meet track/nhra requirement for et/safety.

No hydraulic release or air shifters. Must leave and shift as direct action of the driver. Typical handicap race.

Also a factory (3,4,5,6 speed) trans gets you a $100 bill if you get to the finals.

Usually a good mix with new challengers, vipers, muscle cars and 4/5 race cars.

I have a 1970 Valiant 4-door with a 318, 3-speed stick & this sounds like fun to me.

Pretty sure it would be the only one there! lol

Yep!

There’s usually an A100 there but I think he’s a conventional 4 speed now. A couple of early A’s.

1 time trial Friday then usually a gamblers, 2 time trials Saturday then eliminations.

Just a heads up-PA system there kinda sucks so listen close or bring a radio with you.
