Is anyone going Thursday night to the expo center Mopar Rebellion cook out
+ show

Always - low key and friendly, folks are usually at their cars and eager to talk... Anybody know if they are featuring display cars this year, and if so what are they?

I just reserved a spot at the Western Village RV Park where I stayed last year. Will definitely be at the Expo Center Thursday evening. Looking forward to a Great time again this year

I cancelled last year and returned my sticker. They rolled my 2020 registration to 2021 - I called earlier this week to confirm my registration and was told they will mail out registration packets/stickers about 3 weeks prior, so sometime the week of June 14.

We will be bringing a wide variety of reproduction parts. Picking up at the show items like package trays, seat dividers, molded hood pads and trunk mats can save you considerably due to the rather large sizes. If you have any special request for ACC carpet, AMD sheet metal, etc, please let us know as the date is quickly approaching. I am asking that all request be submitted by Friday, June 18th. You can find us right next to building T in rows H and I in spots 138 through 143.

I need floor pans, crossmembers, rockers, quarters, rear valance, etc... do people show up with that kind of sheet metal for sale or would I have better luck here and through AMD? I’ll probably go either way, but want to maximize the haul if possible!

Also, it’d be really cool to meet a few members while there. Do we organize a booth or anything? If not, I’d be willing to help coordinate / talk with admins about helping in the future.

I went there back in the early 90s when it was just getting started. it is much larger now...July, eh...always hotter than hell with the threat of Thunderstorms it seems.

The swap meet area of Carlisle is approximately 2800 spaces. As of yesterday, there was only 3 spots yet to be sold. The plan is to take some of the car corral area and use those spaces for overflow swap meet spaces. With that said, that is one huge swap meet to most event standards. Like any swap meet, you will never know what will be found. Due to the size and the overwhelming amount of items, it is difficult to see everything. You will see a lots of junk that probably should have thrown away years ago and you will see NOS pieces that never come up for sale. Prices will vary across the board for the very same part.

In my opinion, the best part about events like Carlisle is that your able to actually view the quality of the part prior to making the purchase. When buying the piece from a picture from the internet, you have limited insight on the details of the piece. If there is multiple manufacturers of the same part, it is very possible that you can view them at an event of this size and make the determination of which is the best part for your situation and funds.

By picking up items at the event, you will be able to save considerably on some shipping charges. It cost more to ship items like seat dividers and package trays than what is the actual cost of the item, due to the oversize nature of the part.

Unfortunately, most vendors are having a difficult time in sourcing items to sale. Some items have been on back order for as much as year now. If it is in stock, the inventory levels are very low in most situations. That is why I have stressed to our customers to respond to me by June 18th for any of their needs. Otherwise, the items will be put out for sale on a first come, first served basis.

@Mpacker, the availability of some of the A-Body pieces was dropped February of 2020, so finding the pieces is getting more difficult. Even if it is still available, it may very well be on back order. You will need to verify the availability prior to the event to insure that you would be able to pick the item up. But for an event of the size of Carlisle, your chances of finding the part is much greater and again the pricing may vary greatly. If you have a specific list of items needed, drop me a message and I can provide you with a quote on the parts.

With that said, hope that those who can attend will come out and support the event and those vendors who are out there bringing the parts to the venues. See you guys at the show!!!

I went to Carlisle last year for the first time and was AMAZED at the organization compared to the Mopar Nationals. The swap area was normal BUT the car show area was incredible. I'm really looking forward to this year since last year was a "Down" year due to covid-19 I want to see what it's like in a good year!!!

Long way from Mo. to Carlisle, but I went there 3 times over the years, went to Nats. every year till about 2005. Carlisle is 100 times better than Nats. unless you are a racer maybe. Just no comparison.

Wow! I haven’t been to a big show since I was younger. I grew up right by National Trails and did the Nats every year up into my young teens. Definitely looking forward to this one!

Received my paperwork today. R105 with a 21 in the corner. Is the 21 the class or is there assigned spots? Thanks

Got my registration today as well! R105 - 21, and 42. I'm thinking I am the 42nd registered in the '67 to '69 Stock Dart class.

42 smaller number under R105 & your name?
Can't be (mine is 298 & was 1693 last year). I think that's the overall sequence/order # of all registered cars. You must've registered very early!
BTW I'm across the lane from yinz in R107
