Congratulations to '44070dart' (FABO), 'cuda20' (FABO), 'LocuMob' (FABO), 'ocdart' (FABO) and 'Sublime one' (FABO) for correctly picking #5 Kyle Larson to be the quickest around the 12-turn, 2.2-mile course on the mean streets of Chicago.
Larson is also the #2 qualifier for the Xfinity race later today.
Looks like the extra course time was a benefit.

@cuda20, @fishmens67, I have a car club meeting on Sunday and may not be home when the NASCAR Chicago street race goes green.
Please make sure you post your race picks before the scheduled green flag time of 4:45pm EST (1:45pm PDT).
Thanks

Crazy wild race on the Chicago streets yesterday between the narrow course with minimal runoff areas and the weather!

No race winner bonus points since nobody picked #48 Alex Bowman to be in the lead when time expired yesterday.
Congratulations to 'Back in Time' (FABO), 'cuda20' (FABO), and 'fishmens67' (FABO) for correctly picking the race runner-up, #45 Tyler Reddick. Each picked up
-3 bonus points.

'fishmens67' (FABO) had the low net score this week with 3.5 points.

#16 Shane van Giesbergen was the race leader at the end of the first stage, #20 Christopher Bell was in 2nd.
#60 Joey Hand was the race leader at the end of second stage, #48 Alex Bowman was in 2nd.

As a reminder here's a quick explanation of what the above numbers represent:
(your score before the race) (your Pole pick car #) (Pole winner bonus point) (race pick car #) (race pick car #) (Stage 1 bonus points) (Stage 2 bonus points) (race pick finish position) (race pick finish position) (race winner/runner-up bonus points) (your score after the race)
Please let me know if I show either your Pole or Race picks incorrectly or if you have any questions.

Please post your picks for the next race and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".
As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

Don't forget to get your picks for the Great American Getaway 400 Presented by VistaPA.com at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA, posted before the green flag drops at approximately 2:45 PM EDT (11:45 PM PDT) on Sunday, July 14. Any race picks or changes to previously posted race picks for this race posted after 2:45 PM EDT (11:45 AM PDT) will not be recognized.

Your Pole Pick for the Great American Getaway 400 will need to be posted before qualifying starts at 12:45PM EDT (9:45AM PDT) on Saturday, July 13. Any qualifying picks or changes to previously posted qualifying picks for this race posted after 12:45PM EDT (9:45AM PDT) will not be recognized.
Cup Series practice for the Great American 400 is scheduled for Saturday, July 13, at 12:00Noon (9:00AM PDT) as shown on nascar.com.
