Is the engine running a carb? Anyone tried fuel injection yet?

You betcha! Go over to SlantSix.org for a complete explanation of how to adapt GM Multi-Port FI to the /6. The article I read gives a list of everything you need from the circa 1985 3.8 donor car. If you want to slap a turbo on it, they've got instructions for that, too.

How much was that that started eating pistons? 250 or 275???? Inquiring minds want to know................O:)

Actually the first one went at 180 or so. The second went at 175, but there were other issues involved. Both times the piston went because the tune-up was fuel rich, not nitrous.


The Daytona will be at Kearney IF we get it done. I was going to roll the red car out Saturday and get it ready just in case, but I have to work.
