225/70's on a 5.5" Rally?

Has anyone ever ran a 225/70-14" tire, on a stock 14 x 5.5" Mopar Rally wheel?

They will fit on the rim! The question is will the tire fit the wheelwells??
I'm running 245/60/14s on mine and they get close to the fender lips.

225-70-14 has a recommended minimum wheel width of 6" (5.5" would be OK).

The tire is tall @ about 27.5" Should work fine on the rear but would never fit on the front.

Looks good, and thank you for the low-down! What springs are you running in the rear?

Hopefully, I'll be picking up a set of 5, 14 x 5.5" stock Rally wheels later this week. The 225's look good in the back, I may see if I can get some 225/75-14's, for some added height, I want to run some Super Stock leaf springs.

Those are the original springs as far as I know. It was a 318 car.
