225 Slant Six Manifold

yeah, I dont know where I pulled that from now, but the exhaust will draw in some under bolt torque as the runners are not connected at the ends like a V8 intake. I got an early exhaust that is totally smooth, no ribs at all, They put more and more ribbing into later versions to prevent cracking.

This might not be the best place to ask, but I don’t want to start another thread- what coolant would be best? I had my car over heat and blow a radiator hose the other day while idiling in a half mile line for donuts. I need to do a service on my oil and figure a coolant flush wouldn’t be a bad idea as well. So then the question is, what should I use? I know that, in theory, I can use just about any coolant. But I’m sure y’all have lots of experience with various coolants, so if there are some that perform better, this would be the place to find out

Dexcool and all the other ones that are not bright Prestone green are all Aluminum safe. You probably have no AL in the slant motor or cooling (maaaybe water pump? ) system so good'ol Prestone. Does it freeze in Georgia? The old Mopar anti-rust additive is probably all you need.

it does get below freezing a week or two out of the year, but only about to about 20 degrees or so. So just any prestone coolant should be good then? didnt know if there was some secret coolant out there. i'd read about evans waterless but the reviews on this website for it scared me off

Don't need that Evans polypro stuff, its $$$ and not necessary. Prestone all the way. Just use enough to protect down to 20. any more is not better. Cut it with distilled water, tap has minerals in it that will settle in motor or rad, .89/gallon at Walmart.
