245/50/14 tires

I Have a chance to buy at a great deal a set of BFG 245/50/14 tires and I have cragar SS wheels. Will these fit on the rear of my 64 Dart without rubbing I do have air shocks. Thanks for any advise

What is the offset on your wheels? I have measured six ways to Sunday for my Dart with stock 14 Rallye wheels and am pretty sure I can only get 235/60r14 under there without modifications.

After some checking I guess your right they are too small around they are like new for $50 each but I think that After reading the search archives I will use 235/60/14 to be the right fit and heigth

245's will fit fine with stock rims and offsets, my car has them on it now (66dart). Cragar's probably have something less than standard offset, they might or might not fit.

I have 245/60/14s also on my dart with no problems. What is the stock off set again? 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 inches?

he said 245 50. i have a pair of those.i went out and measured. they have a tread width of about 8.5 and section width of about 10.5 on 7 inch rims.

Need to get the old 13" stock rims and wheel covers off my 64 Dart Vert . . . interested in the max size I can put on so I can buy some good used period correct wheels and tires . . .

Recommendations . . . I guess for both of us, me and Milo!
