LMFAO@ that price! It does have significant history but who in their right mind would spend that kind of money for history? Someone like Jay Leno maybe interested lol! Anyways yeah been seeing some strange things lately and this just adds one more to the growing list!

Bet he'd have a **** hemorrhage if some scammer hit the buy it now button

The story attributed to this 318 is it was built for one Granatellis indy cars , it has westlake cyl heads and its claim to fame was was in the Rod Shop colt drag car , $ 250.00 k , WOW

I have to give some slack on this. After all how many "are" there? You certainly won't be "making" any more anytime soon. This is truly, I think, a unique piece

I will agree that there's a pretty limited customer base. One thing about ebay, tho....THE widest single point potential buyer exposure all over the world.

Well its worth as much as somebody is willing to pay for it, somebody with too much money could pick it up...But people with that much money aren't stupid...LOL

He is just using eBay to put the word out, a real buyer will be able to contact him and buy it off market. Who wants to pay eBay fees on that sort of money.

something seems off, indy car motor that they couldn't clean the slag out of the lifter valley? one of the tops of the lifter bores even looks chipped in the picture.
don't get me wrong a really unique and cool set of heads & intake but, I find it hard to believe that motor was race ready or lovingly stored with duct tape & bubble wrap.....

That's not the block for that engine If it were it would have bushed lifter bores like the 305 Trans Am engines were done
