I've tried shopping cam shafts a few times in the past Too agrevating for me.
Do you know who has the best price for a hydrolic version of Isky E4 specs ?

I haven't looked at comparable hydraulic cams with about the same specs. I'll poke around tonight and see what I can find. There's a million cams out there so it's hard to limit your choice. The old RV cam (268/454) was always a good cam for the 318's. It should work good in a 273 but be a bit more radical at idle. I am far from a expert when it comes to cam selection especially now that there's so many choices. tmm

A solid and hydraulic cam with the same specs can behave quite a bit differently. If you are wanting to go hydraulic I would recommend contacting a cam company and honestly explain your setup and what performance you want. They'll recommend a good fit.
