It is obviously modified and has some issues, but not too serious. I also saw some valve covers he was looking for, they were very nice NOS but ridiculous price wise.

Yep. I wonder if it was an early casting. There is no name cast into it and it doesn't look like it was ground off.

I have found both the intake as well as the valve covers. This is how the engine looks at the moment.

I like that the manifold is old enough to have stud locations for both "old style" 4bbls and the more standard newer bolt pattern
