i know, i know. i was just makin' a funny.

have a look at his other threads (i think there's three about this now) and you'll notice that *some* of the rockers have adjusters with lock nuts, and some have the interference adjusters.

this sordid tale is far from coming to a close.

Yep. No mention that the factory rockers had the interference fit and the aftermarket rockers has lock nuts.

It's not like on all the small block rockers, but on the slant 6, the interference fit was all in the adjuster. The lock nut adjusters screwed right in by hand.
 
Im just payin the cards I was dealt….btw those were cup style posted not ball.

You could get ball and ball pushrods, but then, you'd make up the extra cost of the correct adjusters.
 
looks spot faced to me… haven’t checked them all out yet.

Socket fixture on a grinder or just put it on a Bridgeport?
I've used everything from a bench grinder and a file to a drill press with a broach. It's not hard to see when it's flat and most of them don't take that much at all. Luckily with the slant 6, the top of the adjuster hole is already flat.
