GREETINGS when I got my 1965 dart out of storage it would not start no fuel. changed started with filter and ended up with new tank. had stromberg WW carburetor rebuilt. One question is should the choke butterfly stand straight up when motor is at operating temp? Are the idle screws controlling air or fuel or a mix? As set right now the choke just beerly closes other car it slams shut on that choke there is a small number near the rod what does it mean?

[1] At operating temp, choke blade should be vertical.
[2] Idle mixtures screws control an air & fuel mixture.

THANKS It seams there is not enough travel in that choke the number on it is 59,I have a new one stamped 67 my idle screws are at 1 1/4 turns out . my manual states rich condition could be wrong gasket at base of carb.or top of manifold. Going to try that new choke. Thanks again.
