273 to 360 Lower Hose Number 60702

I spent some time at Kragens today looking through there hoses and i wanted to share my findings.
Here is the lower hose number that is needed for the 273 to 360 conversion while using a stock modified radiator. The Good Year part number is 60702. This hose has the larger 1 3/4inch at the water pump and the smaller 1 1/2 inch at the radiator. It will need to be trimmed 7 Inches on the 1 1/2 inch side. I also installed the spring out of an old hose i had.

Did you have to modify the stock radiator to have the lower outlet on the passenger side?

I took it the rad shop and had them swap lower outlet and drain sides. Boiled out and the modification $65.00.

i did the same thing and the fool forgot to put the drain back in ha

We don't have a kragens around here...unless its the same thing as schucks...

do you know whow the manufacture of the hose is?? gates, goodyear,??
