I am currently running 26x8.5x14" slicks on my 68 Dart. Thinking about going to 28x9x15" slicks and was wondering if anyone was running them and how do they fit? SS springs and stock width rear end with no other mods. Thanks
I Have 28 X 9 X 15 Slicks On My A Body 68 Cuda. Use Any 15 X 8 Wheel With A 4.5" Backspacing. This Brings It Close To The Rear Springs. Also Keeps It Away From The Outer Lip. I Also Have Superstock Springs And It Raises The Rear Just Perfect Too. See Ya!
I Also Use them on my '68 Barracuda with SS Springs...No Problem...I Have Also Used them On The '68 Dart WITH the Stock Wheel Trim And SS Springs..They Lqqk Tight But Work Well...Good/Year tires are better fit than others...The SWELL and Rim Size makes a significant matter also...
