[WANTED] 3.55 or lower for 8.25

Rumor has it that you'll need a notched cross shaft for 3.55 or lower. I believe it's available new from Summit.
 
All of it from Summit. They have gears down to 4.10.
 
I have a set of late model 3.55's I just pulled from my Duster that will be going up for sale soon if interested.

This is in a 73 b body. Do I still need a notched cross shaft. It's an open differential.
 
I don't see why you would need a notched cross shaft. Mine isn't.

Here is a link to the car making passes at the track- first few runs are with the exhaust on but in all honesty not sure if you can hear if the rear axle is quiet or not! The gears have been in since 2008 and silent. Going to 3.90's so I can put the car in the 12's as it currently is stuck at 13.0 and just needs a touch more gear to get the job done

My 3.55's no longer for sale. I did not hear back from the original poster and reinstalled them in my car this morning.
 
Sorry with Christmas I just couldn't gather the money up. I thought I had sent you pm
